1976 in Guntersville, AL by Terry Scott and Kenny Littleton who
remain active today in its management and daily operations.
Factory Connection is currently operating over 215 stores in
11 states throughout the south and has long-term expansion plans.
Major expansions will be in developing new markets, relocating
selected present stores to more productive locations, and expanding
existing stores to accommodate growing sales potential.

Factory Connection stores feature a wide selection
of the latest Juniors, Missy, Plus Size and Men’s fashions-
and are staffed by well-trained personnel who are supported
by an experienced
team of merchandisers, buyers and area managers. Factory Connection
operates from the home office and 70,000 square foot distribution
center located in Albertville, AL and employs over 856 people.
Buying direct from the industry’s leading
fashion manufactures allows Factory Connection to offer name
brands and specialty
retail store brands at 25% to 50% off department store prices.
Stores range in size from 2000 to 4000 square feet. Locations
include downtown areas and regional malls. Factory Connection
prefers to position stores in small communities with 5,000 plus
population and surrounded by grocery chains, regional department
stores and other anchor tenants.
Factory Connection stores operate successfully across the Southeast
in Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Arkansas,
